Popular Q&A

USB Microphone Voice Recording?

I'm basically looking for a mic for voice recording on my laptop. I'm looking for the best sound quality but also portability.

I've found the Blue Microphones Snowflake USB Microphone, which is ideal in both departments, apart from many of the reviews says the USB connection is very poor and its keeps causing problems.

are there any alternatives? Preferably that attach to the laptop itself

I wouldn't worry about it being USB, the only people who worry about that are either professionals or audio snobs. I have a headset with a mic that uses USB and I have had no problems at all and it has great quality audio in for me, and people tell me the mic is very clear as well. Mine wasn't expensive either about £30.00
