Shure PGX14/WH20 headset wireless mic system

Wireless Microphones That Help Guitarists' Vocals Cut Through the Mix

A Shure system that's also excellent, and less expensive to boot, is the PGX14/WH20, which includes a unidirectional dynamic headset mic, the WH20TQG. Dynamic microphones are generally slightly less nuanced than condensers, but for your purposes - singing onstage with a rock band - it's often the mic of choice because of its reputation for durability. Features like Automatic Transmitter Setup and Automatic Frequency Selection make setting up the system no problem even for the technically challenged. And the headset is adjustable and lightweight, so you can do all the headbanging you want without the mic getting in your way.

Another well-known maker of microphones that makes a quality headset mic for musicians is Sennheiser, whose ME3 is available on its own or as part of the EW152G2 wireless mic system. It's a supercardioid condenser microphone, which means it not only rejects just about all sound except for the singer's voice, but it also gives you fantastic sonic reproduction. Featuring excellent feedback rejection and with an adjustable headset built to withstand the heartiest headshaking, this is a microphone any musician should love.

Pretty good

I'd call it the best camera for that price. I'd go for it.
FYI, Downsides are:
* Limited lens compatibility (no autofocus motor, so many Nikon lenses won't work)
* Autofocus is slow enough to be completely useless in live view mode (try it in a store)
* Video mode isn't up to par with Canon and friends. You get limited resolution, awkward frame rate, horrible audio (11kHz with low quality built-in microphone, and no microphone input, and the kit lens will give you lots of image stabilizer noise).
Stepping up, Canon 550D is an amazing camera (albeit without the pivot LCD)
